Maximum Scanning & Printing Width?
How Wide are you Widest documents to Scan? Inch
How Wide do you want to Print? Inch
Note: Scanner are limited in the maximum scanning width and you therefore need to choose a scanner that is equal to or exceed your maximum scanning width requirement which is typical the same width as your widest documents. For Printers the width is determine by you need. Note: Scanning and Printing width need not be the same.

Color or Monochrome Copying?
Do you need to copy color documents, monochrome documents or both?
Note: Monochrome copying only will usually mean a LED printer, color or both usually means an ink-jet type of printer. If needs are small monochrome copying can be handle in a cost effective manner using color ink-jet printing technology.

Thick Documents or Fragile Documents?
Do you need to copy Thick or mounted materials? Yes No
Do you need to copy Fragile material (textile, art work etc.)? Yes No
Note: Most documents does not require Thick media copying. If unsure it is most likely a No.
Fragile material is typical artwork, textile or very old documents and is rarely copied. Fragile
material is best handle by a Flatbed scanner.
