On-SITE Warranty Summary
GTCO CalComp Scanners

 
For all new ScanPlus series scanners purchased and installed in the U.S.A. GTCO CalComp warrants that the scanner will be free from defects and will meet the scanner specifications, as presented by GTCO CalComp at the time of the original purchase, for two years from the date of purchase. Options, upgrades, conversions, cables, accessories, and included items are covered by the same warranty as the ScanPlus series scanner for which they were purchased. During the first 90 days, a replacement scanner will be sent to the customer site upon determination of product failure.

Emergency or On-site service repair service will be performed Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., customer local time, excluding GTCO CalComp holidays. Emergency or on-site repair service level- Next business day average response on scanners located in most metro areas of the U.S, generally considered GTCO CalComp Zones 1 and 2. GTCO CalComp warranty on labor is for 30 days on mechanical repairs. GTCO CalComp provides emergency on-site repairs, parts replacements, excluding any items that are considered consumables. Consumable items include white background plates, glass plates, fluorescent lamps, belts & rollers. Replaced consumable items and any software integration services will be the end user customer’s responsibility to pay for at time of replacement or the integration performed.

  • In ZONE ONE Cities, GTCO CalComp shall provide an eight (8) hour response time, subject to customer and part availability and timing of the customer call.|

  • In areas outside the ZONE ONE Cities, GTCO CalComp will use best efforts to respond within eight (8) hours, subject to customer, technician and part availability and timing of the customer call.

  • All Hawaiian Islands other than Oahu and Alaskan areas outside of Anchorage require a three (3) business day response.

  • The eight (8) hour response time shall be measured from the time that the customer’s request for service is received by GTCO CalComp until a technician arrives at the customer’s site.

  • Customer calls placed in the afternoon of a workday will normally result in a visit the next business day.
